Professor Chen is deputy director of Qiushi Academy for Advanced Studies, Zhejiang University, and deputy director of the key laboratory for Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular detection technology and drug evaluation, Zhejiang Province. He received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University, in physics and computer science and technology, respectively. He was a visiting scholar at school of medicine, University of Pittsburgh, USA. In recent years, Professor Chen has carried out research work in brain-computer interface, animal robot, human-computer interaction, rehabilitation engineering and intelligent science, participating in more than 10 projects at the national and provincial level as a host or a backbone, publishing more than 100 papers, receiving a number of national invention patents. He was selected in the Zhejiang Province “151 Talent Project”, won the “Wu Wenjun AI Science & Technology Award”. He is also a member of the Neuroscience Education Branch of the Chinese Society of Cognitive Sciences.
